What Will KICK Restoration Do for You?

Step 1. Pre-Inspection: At this time, we will do a walk-through of your home with you, taking note of your areas of concern. We will tell you which spots you can expect to come out and which ones may be permanent.

Step 2. Furniture Moving: We will move a couple pieces for you at no charge. Large items such as beds, dressers and televisions will not be moved. Please have these items moved prior to our arrival if you would like them cleaned underneath. In general, large pieces that have never been moved aren’t subjected to regular foot traffic, so a simple vacuuming will do just fine.

Step 3. Pre-Spray Application: Our carpet cleaners will apply a pre-spray solution to all areas of your carpeting that are going to be cleaned. This solution loosens the soils away from the fibers, allowing them to be flushed away. This safe solution takes care of nearly all of the soiling and spots on your carpet. Any remaining spots will be treated once this step is complete.

Step 4. Agitation of the Carpet Fibers: Depending on the soil level of your carpets, we may use a carpet groomer or rotary machine to help further loosen the soil from your carpets.

Step 5. Rinse and Extract With Purified Water: Once the pre-treatment is allowed proper dwell time, your carpet is rinsed with de-ionized water. This water is so pure that it has no minerals left, leaving your carpets softer than ever before. This is very important, as we never use any detergents through our machine that will cause rapid re-soiling.

Step 6. Post Spot Treatment: Any spots that haven’t come out during our normal cleaning procedure will be taken care of at this time. Most of these spots will be the result of an artificial dye such as Kool-Aid. There is a small additional charge for removing these spots. Please note that they are sometimes permanent.

Step 7. Grooming of the Carpet Fibers: Your carpeting will be groomed to remove any wand markings and also to promote faster drying. Typical drying time is about 3 hours.

Step 8. Post Inspection: We will do a walkthrough of your home with you to ensure your complete satisfaction.

Carpet Repairs

Carpet Re-Stretching

One of the most common carpet repair scenarios we see is stretching. Stretching occurs when carpet becomes loose and wrinkles on the surface. Our carpet repair experts will come in and fix the situation without having to take apart any seams. The wrinkles will be gone, and your carpets will look like they did on the day they were installed.

Patching

If your carpet becomes stained or damaged by a pet, food or drink spill, then patching would be a great carpet repair solution for you. It seems like a simple fix, but it takes an expert to match up the damaged area to the rest of the carpet. Our carpet repair professionals examine the untainted carpet, find a matching piece, and replace the damaged section. When it is done, you will not be able to identify where the original damaged portion was located. Your carpet will look seamless and new. You will not have to replace your carpet when you use our services… but it will look like you did!
